Dr. Adel Abdel Malek Saad is a highly accomplished physical and manual therapist with a distinguished career spanning around 50 years. He began his journey by graduating as a physical therapist in year 1976 from Cairo University. In 1986 he achieved his master degree in physical therapy from Cairo University. Dr. Saad is then traveled to the USA and achieved his doctorate degree in manual therapy from the Ola Grimsby Institute in California, USA, in 2004.
In addition to Dr. Saad expertise and extensive studies in the field of physical and manual therapy, he perused studies in acupuncture, undertaking training in China and Singapore. He accomplished his first Diploma in Acupuncture in 1987 from the Chinese scientific acupuncture center, and In 1988 he earned another advanced Diploma in Acupuncture from the advanced Acupuncture Center in Singapore.
Dr. Adel Abdel Malek Saad is the founder of the Physical Therapy Center in Cairo, Egypt, and the Comfort Spirit Physical Therapy Center in Florida, USA. Furthermore, he holds the role of consultant Physical Therapist at the Egyptian Ministry of Health. Upon his relocation to the United States in 1993, Dr. Saad’s expertise in physical therapy and other therapy areas was recognized, leading to his appointment as Director of the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Respiratory Therapy departments at Beverly Enterprises USA.
Dr. Saad’s extensive study and nearly 50 years of experience have shaped his unique manual treatment approach. This approach is a culmination of the diverse techniques he has encountered in various international schools of study, as well as the practical experience from different countries. The approach is primarily stimulates the body’s natural healing abilities and cellular renewal process, inherent within us by God (unlike other man-made devices that degrade over time and use, necessitating replacement of damaged parts). The combined treatment approach indicates that changes in the mechanical alignment of joints and vertebrae contribute to the various joint and muscle painful degenerative conditions. Therefore, if a musculoskeletal condition stems from a mechanical misalignment, the solution lies in restoring the normal alignment of bones, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Dr. Saad conducted a research on treatment of different types of headache headaches, including migraine, tension-type and cervicogenic headaches utilizing the model of the whole spectrum of manual therapy technique (as a part of completion of the study for the doctorate degree). His research got great recognition from the staff board of the institute and requested to be presented at the International Federation of Orthopedic Manipulative Therapists. And indeed he had the honor of being chosen to present his findings on treating different types of headaches at the International Federation of Orthopedic Manipulative Therapists Congress in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, in 2008.
Dr. Saad conducted research on treating various types of headaches, including migraine, tension-type, and cervicogenic headaches, using a wide range of manual therapy techniques (as part of completion of his doctoral studies).
